I recently stayed at La Cocoteraie Ecolodge - Luxury Glamping Tents for a few days to relax and explore the beautiful surroundings. The hotel is tucked away amidst coconut trees and has a charming design for both the restaurant and the tents. The receptionist, Muhid, warmly welcomed us and provided helpful information about the resort. The hotel offers complimentary bikes and snorkels, which are essential for exploring the area. Additionally, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the rooms were spotlessly clean, and the concept of luxury tents added a unique touch to our stay. a great hotel experience!
I do recommend this hotel.

The hotel itself is spotless and beautifully designed, with attention to detail in every corner. We particularly loved the design of the restaurant and the tents. The hotel also provided free bikes and snorkels, which we found very convenient and useful. The location is great, hidden amidst coconut trees and close to both the East and West Coasts of the island. Nestled in a coconut plantation on the serene side of the tropical paradise of Gili Trawangan, this eco-friendly resort offers a luxurious glamping experience. Step from your private terrace into your air-conditioned luxury tent and indulge in the comforts of a boutique hotel. Settle into a chair on the airy deck with a book or a pen, and let the island's white sands, clear water, swaying palms, and singing birds offer you a simple bliss.

The staff at El Coco are fantastic, always smiling and willing to help. the lodge is in a quiet location, only a 5 minute walk from the beach. the staff were informative from arrival and throughout the stay, advising of a perfect spot to watch the incredible sunset. It's a unique accommodation style and is just like the pictures. Free bike and snorkeling equipment rental is a great perk.

I recently stayed at La Cocoteraie Ecolodge on Gili Trawangan for a relaxing getaway. The staff, particularly Eko and Muhid, were incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel area is beautiful, quiet, and spacious, with only 16 guests maximum. The tents were comfortable and well-maintained, making it hard to leave. They even provided free bikes, snorkels, headlights, and locks, making it convenient to explore the island. If you're looking for a unique and carefree experience, I highly recommend staying here.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

Title: Best glamping experience with amazing service and fantastic food
We wish there was a DJ or some cool parties at the hotel. It would have been perfect to have a fun party atmosphere where we could dance and have a great time with our friends.

The location of the hotel provided a quiet and secluded retreat, away from the crowded areas. Guests could enjoy the peacefulness and relax in the comfy chairs or take a dip in the dipping pool surrounded by trees.
There was a landfill nearby that posed a threat to the sustainability of the island.

For the price we paid, the value we got at this unique ecolodge was incredible. The room was spacious and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed. The location was perfect - away from the hustle and bustle, but still accessible to everything. The staff treated us like royalty, going above and beyond to make our stay memorable.
Hotel breakfast could use more variety to make it even better.

The moment I arrived at the glamping site, I was mesmerized by the beautiful decorations. The wooden furniture and tropical fittings created a serene and cozy atmosphere, making me feel right at home. The general areas of La Cocoteraie were well maintained and elegantly designed, providing a luxurious experience in the heart of nature. As a senior woman, I truly appreciated the hotel's accessibility. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and safety, offering assistance whenever needed.
The only thing I would ask for a better vacation for senior people is to have more well-lit paths during the evening. Although the children working at the hotel provided torchlights, it would have been even better if the paths were more illuminated.

The room at La Cocoteraie Ecolodge is absolutely dreamy! It has an air-conditioner, a private terrace with cozy seating, and stunning garden views. As a solo traveler, I felt like I was in my own little paradise. It was the perfect place to unwind and relax after a day of exploring the island.
Personally, I wasn't a big fan of the extra bed surcharge for guests above 4 years old. However, I understand that it's a way for the hotel to manage occupancy and ensure everyone has a comfortable stay.

From the moment I arrived, the staff provided valuable information, including the best spot to witness the breathtaking sunset. the tents themselves were incredible, offering a unique and luxurious accommodation style. Equipped with a spacious bed, large bathroom, and even air conditioning, it's hard to believe you're staying in a tent. The pictures truly reflect the beauty of this place. I absolutely loved the decoration of the hotel, with its beautiful wooden furniture and tropical fittings. It truly made me feel like I was staying in a luxurious paradise. The general areas of the hotel, including the restaurant and swimming pool, were also well-maintained and had a calming atmosphere. As a senior woman, I found the hotel to be very accessible, with easy walking paths and comfortable seating areas throughout the property.
If I could ask for one improvement for a better vacation for senior people, it would be to have more assistance available from the staff. While the children working there were very friendly, I sometimes needed a bit more support navigating the island and arranging activities.
